What is Poster-On-Site?

Poster-On-Site is an innovative congress service that offers you 2 great services:

Poster Printing: Submit your poster online and receive a high-quality poster when you arrive at the congress venue.
Handout Printing: Receive an additional 20 A4 colour photocopies of your poster when you arrive at the congress venue.

Poster Printing

Design your own poster in PowerPoint or download one of our templates.
Submit the poster in *.ppt or *.pptx format.
Posters are printed on high quality photographic paper (135g/m2), using our unique 10-step quality control process.
Printed posters are individually packed and labelled.
Collect your poster on the first day of the congress.
Each poster includes the materials needed to stick it to the poster board.

Handout Printing

During checkout, you can request that your poster be printed as a handout.
Handouts are colour-printed on one side of a white sheet of A4 size paper (80g/m2), using our unique 10-step quality control process.
Printed notes are packed together and labelled.
Collect your pack of handouts on the first day of the congress.

Poster Requirements

Your poster must be submitted in *.ppt or *.pptx format (PowerPoint) and fit on only one slide.
Your slide measurements must be identical to the congress requirements.
Your poster must be less than 2MB in size.

Tips on building your poster

Use a simple sans serif font such as Arial or Verdana.
Use bold letters for titles.
Titles should be 70-90p in size, and poster text should preferably be ~40p in size.
Centre the title of your poster.
The Bibliography can have a smaller text size of ~20p.

Shrinking your poster to less than 2Mb

If your poster is bigger than 2 MB, it is probably due to the size of graphics present in the poster. Use a graphics editing package to Resize and / or Resample your picture. You will lose some quality in the process, but not too much. Re-insert the modified image into your poster. A freeware graphics editing tool that is very powerful is Irfanview.
